nCOVID-19 & It's Impact In General

Yolo, what's up guys? I am Rhea Alvin, blogging my opinion on everything interesting under the sun (and frankly even the moon, I do most of my typing at night). If you liked my blog, subscribe and stay tuned :)

The recent virus which managed to bring down the world is exactly what its name suggests - novel.
It started off in one person in China and is now the cause of the devastation of many countries. It spread across the globe with such swiftness that it swept us off our feet. Governments are falling and so is the economy. People have soon begun to dread the very notion of stepping onto the streets. At this time, all one can do is hope. And hope we shall. The virus itself is tiny, but its impact is immense. At the rate in which it is spreading, we cannot help but wonder whether this could be the next Spanish Flu.

But at this time, working to their last breath, the health workers, doctors & essential service workers deserve a salute. Thanks to them, this too shall pass. They are the reason we do not have to panic in the troubled today (Although let's be honest, we still do and for good reason).

Thanks to our dedicated governments too, our lives are a little bit easier. The supplies for food and daily necessities are being provided by them after all. They have taken major decisions which certainly are strong ones. Closing down the nation meant a drop in the economy. They had to choose. Now that's pressure.

Hang on just a minute. If the doctors are helping bring this down, why are they being attacked? Why are the doctors being spat on? The constant assaults on doctors have thrown them into fear for their lives. In fact, to oppose this injustice, doctors in India have declared April 23rd 'Black Day' whence the doctors wear black badges in protest.

Let's be just a wee bit grateful to our doctors for jeopardizing their lives to save ours. Let's be respectful to the only people who can save us. Cuz, let's be frank, after everything they have been through, they are still helping. That's gotta be something.

Keep healthy everyone:)
